A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away....

The evil Galactic Empire is rebuilding their shattered death star with the help of some dude called Dr Nitschke who has assured them that, this time, it really will be a Death Star (giggle).

In the brief respite from the eternal battle of the Federation of Big Capitalists and Mean Constables, with the Union of Small Generally Decent Folk who have Furry Friends in Forests, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia have returned to the Skywalker dust farm on planet Kajagoogoo. Luke is enjoying a period of kicking back, spending time with a sheila he would like to root if she would come across, checking out intergalactic ebay for second-hand droid parts and web-surfing alien porn.

“What are you doing, Luke?”
“Whoooaaa. Don’t sneak up on me like that, Leia. I’m …er…… trying to fix this...er...that droid cow over there; it’s s’posed to give powdered milk but it keeps dumping yoghurt in the bucket.”
“Probably because it’s a droid bull, Luke. (ding-dong!) Oh, hullo, that must be the postman.”
“Can you get it, Leia, I’m gonna be up to me anchor tattoo in this droid’s docking aperture.”
Leia goes to the letterbox and soon returns.
“One letter, Luke;  it looks like an invitation for you plus one to attend another Heavens Below Fundraising Dinner for the Families of Alderan Victims.”
“Ah, shit! I hate them things.”
“Luke, those families are mourning a great…”
“Not them, not the moaners! The Heavens Below mob and their social begging parties, it's them I hate.”
“Well, Luke. You will be going and I will be going with you as the ‘plus one’ and it will be fun; everybody will be there. Everybody like: Princess Onetit from the planet  Great Nork, Councillor Pill From the Planet Balsac, Emperor Pus from the Zit Cluster,  there’ll the 534,000th  clone of Rupert the Wizard who owns the blue planet in the  solar plexus system, there will the Duke Daddy Longlegs from Mars and, of course, Mr Brown from Uranus.
“Yeah, great. Ok. But Leia, I have nothing to wear and I don’t know what to do when I’m in society. I'm just a humble farm boy from Planet Kajagoogoo;  the biggest social gatherings I have attended in the past year is when I line up the farm droids for their monthly oil-change.
“We’re going, Lucas! Wear what you always wear, them dusty pyjamas, and shut the fukn whining!”
They went.
In the Great Dining Hall of the Capital City Longropdunghole on the Planet Kharzi,  Luke has been seated some distance from Princess Leia and is feeling alone and uncomfortable in the midst of a yabbering throng of wannabee’s and socially-upward aspirants. Suddenly, behind him, he hears a sound like the death throes of an apoplectic Piscisaustrinus Plover.
“R2? Is that you? Thank Glob… Where is C3PO? I need him here to help me with my table etiquette.”
“Bing-bong, bloop Bleep, whirr, whistle, phut!”
“Well, ok, but be quick, they are about to serve the entrée.”
Quickly.
“Ah… Master Luke. You sent for me?”
“C3PO…!!!!  What do you know about table etiquette at these shindigs?”
“I know that what Princess Leia is doing under the table with that animal Chewbacca is extremely bad manners, Master Luke, as they are bucking the table up and down and spilling Sirop de Spoing on the floor. And …. Oh dear…. Excuse me, Master Luke;  I am required to intervene in a bitch-slapping session that has erupted over the manipulation of Hans Solo’s carbon-reinforced bionic cervical battering ram. It is quite the centrepiece his evening mufti…. Toodle-ooo.”
“But… hang on ….. C3PO… Ah shit! What am I gonna do…. There are a dozen plates of different sizes here, sixteen different-shaped glasses in front of me and 60 knives, forks and spoons, and pretty soon the caterers are going to serve something from the menu that is called a shrimp cocktail. I don’t like cocktails… well, I do… that’s the problem… they make me drunker than a newly-elected politician and I’m sure to make an arsehole of meself. And what is this shrimp stuff in the cocktail… what is shrimp? Or does 'shrimp' mean that it is a small drink, a nip?… And does the cocktail come with a little umbrella and a straw to drink it? Or… Hullo!!  What’s that?”
Woooo0o00oo0o0o0o0o0o0o0o…. shimmer, shimmer.
“Thank Glob… it’s Obi Wan Kenobi, imperfectly teleported in from some far reach of the galaxy just in time to give me some sage advice. Hi Obi… you’ve gotta help me;  they are about to serve something called a shrimp cocktail entrée and I don’t know what to do with it… I need guidance right now, Obi Wan…”
“Use the fork, Luke, use the fork.”
