Early show tonight at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival Fringe for Honky Tonk Angels - the Loretta Lynn Show. 7 - 8.30 pm at the Promethean in Grote Street. There are a few seats available but not many so book at Bass NOW if you want to be sure you're in. You can take your chance at the door but rock up on time. The premiere event last Thursday was heaps good with a standing ovation that wasn't caused by sore piles. Honky Tonk Angels stars Amber Joy Poulton as Loretta Lynn and Anthony Thyer, Greg Blanch, Billy Reggione and The Preacher Denis Surmon as the HellRaising Band. That's Amber Joy over there on the left and she will look at you in the same way if you turn up tonight.
Then, straight after all that country high-steppin', you can Scoot your Boots up to the Daniel O'Connell in North Adelaide for dose of pop and roll with pan!c that will cure all winter chills. A course of pan!c will cauterise suppurating sores as well as ease vaginal dryness! And I should know... I was a miserable dried up old cnut until I took pan!c regularly. Now i'm as large and juicy as a bucket of custard. pan!c rocks the Dan from 9 pm. That's the pan!c man on the left looking suitable worried for the promotional photograph that was taken by Andy Warhol yesterday. Maybe.

That's Thursday night, June 25, from 8-ish, Blues Avenue will be swinging at the Wheatie like a bull elephan'ts gonads on a stinking' hot african veldt. And you know how they swing?? Eh?? It'll cost you a fukken packet to get out of the joint but gettin' in is no trouble at all. See you there.
